Shibas are VERY vocal animals. They express their emotions with all kinds of sounds. For their physical size, these dogs can be surprisingly loud. It reinforces the fact that these dogs are actually large dogs packged in a small body. Their attitude reflects this as well. Kiyoshi loves to play with dogs twice his size!
